The Sydney Paediatric Ulcerative Collitis & Crohns Research Association was formed in 2019 by a group of parents and carers of children diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease ("IBD") in conjunction with the Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick IBD Clinic..

Our objective is simple,... To fund research into paediatric IBD focussed on;

1. Better faster diagnosis,

2. Improved treatments and outcomes, and

3. Identifying a cause and most importantly,... A CURE

Initially, funding is focussed on research being undertaken by the Children's Hospital IBD clinic. However other IBD focussed research will be supported in circumstances where funding is available and the research is identified as furthering SPUCCRA's objectives.
